Volkswagen announces top leadership for its EV battery business
Beginning work from 1 July, the board will overlook procurement, processing of raw materials, development of VW’s unit cell and the management of initial six gigafactories
The Volkswagen Group has appointed a six-member executive board to manage the newly established independent European company, Société Européenne, to overlook electric vehicle (EV) battery production and ecosystem, the carmaker announced on 20 May 2022.
