Siemens acquires minority stake in wireless charging technology company WiTricity
Siemens has invested USD25 million in WiTricity; both companies plan to work jointly to drive innovation in wireless EV charging technology
German technology company focused on industry, infrastructure and transport Siemens AG has acquired a minority stake in the US-based wireless EV charging technology company WiTricity, Siemens announced on 8 June 2022. It said that it has invested USD25 million in WriTricity without divulging how much stake it has acquired in the latter.
