Michelin acquires Indonesian sustainable natural rubber project
Access to high quality Indonesian natural rubber is expected to help the French manufacturer increase the sustainable material content of its global automotive tires
French tire company Michelin announced via press release on 21 June that it had acquired a further 51% of the capital of the Royal Lestari Utama (RLU) sustainable natural rubber project from Indonesian energy company Barito Pacific Group to become the sole owner of the joint venture.
