Sibanye-Stillwater increases equity stake in Finnish lithium hydroxide company Keliber to 50%

The Keliber project is expected to produce up to 15,000 tons of battery-grade lithium hydroxide from 2024.

South African mining company Sibanye-Stillwater announced via a press release on 30 June that it had increased its equity shareholding in Finnish mining and battery chemical company Keliber Oy to a 50%-plus-1 share.
