FREYR’s sanctioned Giga Arctic project includes eight production lines, a battery testing center, administrative facilities, and infrastructure at an estimated total capital cost of USD1.7 billion

Norwegian battery maker FREYR Battery announced on 29 June 2022 that the company’s Board of Directors has approved the expansion of the planned Giga Arctic project under development in Mo i Rana, Norway, to an annual capacity of 29 GWh.
