Mercedes-Benz Energy will supply Moment Energy with used EV batteries for a second life in stationary energy storage systems

Part of German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Benz Energy (MBE) signed an agreement with Canadian cleantech startup Moment Energy wherein the former will supply the latter with used electric vehicle (EV) batteries for a second life in stationary energy storage applications, Moment Energy said in a press release on 6 July 2022.
