Vulcan, Enel partner to develop geothermal lithium project in Italy

The two companies plan to extract and refine lithium from the Cesano geothermal field located 20 km northwest of Rome.

Australian energy company Vulcan Energy Resources announced via press release on 8 July that it had entered into a binding collaboration agreement with Italian renewable energy corporation Enel Green Power (EGP) to develop a geothermal lithium extraction project in Italy.
