Albemarle to set up new 100,000 TPY lithium refining plant in the US
The new plant should start sourcing lithium from the company’s North Carolina mine in 2027.
News agency Reuters reported on 27 June that specialty chemicals manufacturing company Albemarle plans to set up a lithium processing plant in the United States to serve the growing domestic electric vehicle (EV) market.
