Graphmatech, Graphenea, Northvolt upcycle EOL EV batteries to produce graphene oxide
The tech breakthrough is expected to help manufacturers increase the amount of battery mass that can be recycled
Swedish materials technology startup Graphmatech announced via press release on 7 July that the company, in partnership with American graphene company Graphenea and Swedish battery manufacturer Northvolt, had succeeded in up-cycling end-of-life EV batteries into graphene oxide at industrial pilot scale.
