Samsung SDI invests USD1.3 billion on second battery production plant in Malaysia
Samsung SDI’s plant 2 will produce PRiMX 21700 cylindrical batteries starting from 2024
South Korean battery maker Samsung SDI plans to invest KRW1.7 trillion (about USD1.3 billion) in building its second battery production facility in Malaysia, the company announced on 21 July 2022.
