ABB E-mobility expands EV charger manufacturing operations in the US
New plant will produce 10,000 EV chargers per year, ranging from 20kW to 180kW
ABB E-mobility plans to expand its EV charging equipment manufacturing operations in the US with a new facility in Columbia, South Carolina, the company announced on 14 September 2022. While the company did not disclose the amount of new investments it plans to make in the new US facility, it said that the multi-million-dollar investment will increase production of EV chargers, including Buy America Act compliant ones, and create over 100 jobs.
