Solvay takes over full ownership of Japanese rare earths joint venture
The joint venture currently produces rare earths applicable for semiconductor manufacturing processes and vehicle emission control systems.
Belgian chemical company Solvay announced via press release on 10 October that it had taken full ownership of its Japanese rare earths company Solvay Special Chem Japan (SSCJ) that was held jointly with Japanese alloy manufacturing company Santoku.
