BMW plans to add 8 new EV component production lines by 2024
BMW’s Leipzig plant manufactured more than 250,000 fully electric BMW i3 vehicles and over 20,000 plug-in hybrid BMW i8 sports cars between 2013 to the summer of 2022
German luxury carmaker BMW Group plans to expand the production capacity of EV components at its Leipzig-based manufacturing plant, the company said on the sidelines of the Green Day organized at the BMW Group Plant Leipzig on 20 October 2022.
