The artificial graphite anode material will be developed at Novonix’s Tennessee-based facilities

South Korean battery-maker LG Energy Solution (LGES) has signed an agreement with North American battery materials-company Novonix Ltd. to conduct joint research and development (R&D) of artificial graphite anode material for lithium ion (Li-ion) batteries, the two companies said in a joint announcement June 7.
