BorgWarner to integrate STMicroelectronics’ Silicon Carbide technology in Viper power module for Volvo EVs
STMicroelectronics to supply SiC-power MOSFETs for BorgWarner’s Viper power module to support Volvo Cars’ journey toward being fully electric by 2030
In a press release announcement on August 31, STMicroelectronics said that it will supply BorgWarner with the third-generation 750-V Silicon Carbide (SiC) power metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) dice for their Viper-based power module.
