Taiwanese supplier Hota to build first US factory in New Mexico – report
The construction will start in early 2024 and mass production in 2025
According to a Reuters report on September 21, Hota Industrial Manufacturing Co. Ltd., a leading supplier to electric-vehicle maker Tesla, is planning to invest $99 million to build its first plant outside of Asia in the US state of New Mexico, the Taiwanese company said September 20, citing greater emphasis on regional production in supply chains.
