Ford and Stellantis have agreed to return to a cost-of-living pay raise formula that the labor union gave up in 2007 as the carmakers were on the edge of bankruptcy

The United Auto Workers (UAW) will not expand its ongoing strikes against the Detroit Three any further after General Motors (GM) agreed to unionize the workers working at its upcoming electric vehicle battery manufacturing plants in the US, according to a news report published by The Associated Press on October 7.
