Onsemi acquires SiC JFET technology from Qorvo for $115 million
The acquisition aims to bolster Onsemi’s EliteSiC portfolio, targeting efficiency and power density in AI data centers, EVs and industrial applications
In a press release on Jan. 15, Onsemi announced that it had completed its purchase of the Silicon Carbide Junction Field-Effect Transistor (SiC JFET) technology business, which includes the acquisition of the United Silicon Carbide subsidiary, from Qorvo.
