Verne, under Rimac and with Porsche's support, starts building a plant near Zagreb for robo-taxis, aiming for a 2026 launch

Croatian electric-hypercar manufacturer Rimac is advancing its diversification strategy with its subsidiary Verne, which has commenced the construction of a factory near Zagreb, Croatia, for the purpose of manufacturing autonomous electric vehicles aimed at a forthcoming robo-taxi service, as reported in a press release on Feb. 11.
