Honda, Nissan terminate the MOU signed for proposed merger
Honda proposed changing the structure from establishing a joint holding company to a structure where it would be the parent company and Nissan the subsidiary
Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. and Honda Motor Co. Ltd. have agreed to terminate the proposed merger of the two legacy Japanese carmakers into one combined entity, the two companies said in a joint statement on Feb. 13.
