Ford invests €4.4 billion in its German subsidiary

The new funding comes on top of the recent investments that the US legacy carmaker had made in Europe, including $2 billion spent on retooling the Cologne plant

Ford Motor Co. announced March 10 that it will invest up to €4.4 billion into its German subsidiary, Ford-Werke GmbH, to support the transformation of its European business and increase its long-term competitiveness.
