A software error may cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze or not display when the vehicle is in reverse, increasing the risk of accidents

Ford is recalling nearly 1.07 million vehicles in the US to fix a software glitch that may prevent rearview cameras from displaying images, thereby increasing the risk of accidents, Detroit Free Press reported on May 28.
