US President Donald Trump has decided to further raise tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from 25% to 50%, effective June 4. Trump announced his decision to double the import tariffs while speaking at a rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the US, claiming his latest move would support the local steel industry and reduce dependence on mainland China.
