Suzuki expects the production to partially resume from June 13 even as Japan is evaluating a collaboration with the US on the supply chain of REEs and magnets

Suzuki Motor has suspended production of its Swift subcompact car owing to the shortage of rare earth materials and magnets in Japan. Mainland China's restrictions on rare earth exports have caused the shortage.
