VW to build future EVs on Rivian's new R2 platform
Volkswagen invests heavily in Rivian's technology, aiding both companies' EV production and software development ambitions
As part of Volkswagen's joint venture with Rivian, VW will use Rivian's upcoming R2 platform for all its future electric vehicles, according to Rivian's Chief Software Officer Wassym Bensaid.
