Adaptive dampers market to see robust growth amid rising focus on comfort and performance
The demand for adaptive dampers is growing rapidly, but shock absorbers will continue to enjoy a leading market share through 2030 and beyond.
Suspension systems are vital to a vehicle’s chassis to ensure good handling and ride comfort. A vehicle’s suspension system mainly relies on two subsystems: Springs and dampers. Springs absorb the initial shock from the road surface. They compress when the vehicle hits a bump and then expand back. The damper controls the springs' energy by slowing down and stopping the vehicle from bouncing too much.
