The collaboration involves developing non-differentiating software modules as open source, allowing joint development and adaptation

With the support of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (Verband der Automobilindustrie [VDA]), 11 automotive companies have entered into a precompetitive cooperation for open-source software development, signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the 29th International Automotive Electronics Congress (AEK).
