The connected car services market is maturing, and consumer attitudes vary by region, age group, and digital comfort level. Consumer trust is mixed, with some drivers embracing the convenience and safety features, while others express concerns about data privacy and security.

Consumer exposure to connected car services and brands is very important to solidify a positive perception. OEMs usually offer three years of free connected services, after which clients can subscribe through the store. A common strategy for OEMs is to activate services at the dealership via a free trial.
