Volkswagen's ID. 3 and ID. 4 models will receive interior redesigns and align visually with new ID. 2.

Volkswagen is planning extensive updates for its ID. 4 all-electric SUV, aligning it visually with the upcoming ID. 2, and reintroducing physical controls within the vehicle, Autocar reported on June 24. Volkswagen's technical development head, Kai Grünitz, confirmed to the automotive publication that the ID. 3 will feature a new design language similar to the 2023 ID. 2all concept, which will also be applied to the ID. 4 to maintain their appeal until their replacements arrive later in the decade. The ID. 3 is set to be replaced by the electric Golf in 2028.
