Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, a Japan-based supplier of automotive wiring harnesses and related components, plans to expand its operations in Simpson County, Kentucky, with an investment of $17 million, Area Development reported July 10. The capacity expansion is expected to create 76 full-time jobs.
