Ford recalls over 694,000 SUVs in US due to faulty fuel injectors
The US automaker will update the engine control software as a temporary safety measure while developing a permanent fix.
Ford is recalling 694,271 sport-utility vehicles (SUVs) in the US due to a defective fuel injector that can leak, increasing the risk of fire, CBS News reported on July 16. The recall will affect certain model year 2021-2024 Ford Bronco Sport and 2020-2022 Ford Escape models with 1.5L engines.
