CEAT plans $52.2 million investment to expand Chennai tire plant capacity in India

The board of directors of India-based tiremaker CEAT Ltd. has unanimously approved a capital expenditure of 4.5 billion rupees (about $52.2 million) for its Chennai plant in Tamil Nadu, India, Autocar Professional reported July 17.
