LG Energy Solution signs $4.3 billion battery supply deal with Tesla
The duration of the contract spans from August 2027 to July 2030, with a provision to extend the agreement by up to seven years
LG Energy Solution (LGES), a South Korean battery manufacturer, has entered into a $4.3 billion contract to supply Tesla with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries for energy storage systems, Reuters reported July 30, citing a source familiar with the matter.
