Genstar has engaged Evercore as its financial adviser for the potential sale, which is expected to officially launch later in 2025

Private equity firm Genstar Capital is considering a sale of OEConnection (OEC), the automotive software company co-owned by Ford and General Motors (GM), in a deal that could value the business at up to $5 billion, including debt, according to sources familiar with the matter, Reuters reported Aug. 4.
