Porsche shifts focus from battery production to independent R&D amid market challenges
Despite scaling back production plans, Porsche will continue investing in battery R&D for electric mobility advancement
In a press release dated Aug. 25, Porsche AG confirmed that it has decided not to proceed with the planned expansion of high-performance battery production through its subsidiary Cellforce, instead opting to continue development as an independent research and development unit.
