Nissan has made a significant advancement by introducing valve seats manufactured using cold spray technology, marking a first in automotive engines. This innovation is applied to a new 1.5-liter turbocharged engine designed for the third-generation e-POWER hybrid powertrain, featured initially in the Qashqai compact crossover, which commenced production in Sunderland, UK.
