Honda will retain a 19% stake, maintaining a long-term partnership with the leading Indian supplier

Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd. (SAMIL) is acquiring control of Yutaka Giken, a Japan-based metal parts supplier to Honda, by purchasing 81% of its voting rights for approximately ¥27 billion (about $184 million), Autocar Professional reported Aug. 29.
