Renesas introduces RH850/U2A MCAL package for automotive applications with IAR toolchain support
Renesas' RH850/U2A MCAL package enhances automotive software development with improved integration and safety standards, supporting software-defined vehicles
Renesas has introduced a new RH850/U2A MCAL package, available for mass production, supporting the IAR toolchain for RH850 (v2.21.2 FS). This package is tailored for the RH850/U2A microcontroller family, which caters to automotive applications requiring high performance, functional safety and low power consumption, such as advanced driver assistance systems, body control and electric vehicle platforms. The MCAL package, qualified for ASIL D MP, is based on AUTOSAR R22-11 and comes with configuration and sample drivers that complement IAR's compiler as a qualified toolchain for production.
