The German carmaker said that physical buttons are favored by certain demographics, emphasizing the balance between physical and digital controls

Mercedes-Benz is planning to integrate more physical controls into its digitally focused car cabins based on data indicating the effectiveness of physical buttons, Autocar reported Sept. 17, citing Magnus Östberg, chief software officer of the Germany-based premium carmaker.
