Baidu's Apollo Go receives first autonomous driving permit for trials in Dubai
Apollo Go begins autonomous vehicle trials in Dubai after securing licenses for a 50-vehicle fleet deployment
In a press release dated Sept. 24, Baidu announced that its autonomous ride-hailing platform, Apollo Go, has received Dubai, United Arab Emirates' first autonomous driving trial permit and an initial batch of 50 autonomous driving test licenses issued by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
