Nissan North America will update the battery software at no cost to the owners

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued a recall on Oct. 1 for 2021–2022 Nissan Leaf models equipped with Level 3 quick charging ports due to a potential battery fire risk.
