The plant's construction is already underway, with plans to start commercial operations by December 2026

ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks (AMTB), a division of ArcelorMittal that specializes in laser-welded blanks (LWBs), also known as tailored blanks, is set to enhance its presence in North America by constructing a new 154,000-square-foot blanking facility in Ingersoll, Ontario.
