BYD announces recall of over 115,000 vehicles due to design and battery issues
Mainland China's market regulator confirms defects in Tang series and Yuan Pro vehicles prompting BYD's largest recall.
BYD is recalling over 115,000 Tang series and Yuan Pro vehicles produced between 2015 and 2022, Reuters reported Oct. 17. The recall follows the identification of design defects and battery-related safety risks, as confirmed by China's market regulator, the State Administration for Market Regulation.
