Cyclic Materials and Vacuumschmelze expand partnership for recycling magnet production byproducts
The 10-year exclusive agreement focuses on localizing recovery of rare earth elements for sustainable magnet production
Cyclic Materials, an advanced recycling company focused on creating a circular supply chain for rare earth elements and other critical materials, has expanded its partnership with Vacuumschmelze (VAC), a developer of magnetic materials and solutions. The companies have signed a 10-year exclusive agreement to recycle all magnet production byproducts from VAC's new manufacturing facility in Sumter, South Carolina, which will begin operations at the end of 2025.
