Purem by Eberspaecher, a subsidiary of the Esslingen-based Eberspaecher Group, is advancing its portfolio in e-mobility by developing battery housings made from high-strength steel. This new application aims at optimizing both cost and weight while enhancing safety features for electric and hybrid vehicles. Traditionally, aluminum has been used for battery housings, but this innovative steel concept provides a more economical and sustainable solution with increased safety benefits.
