CLEPA has called on the European Commission to resist any weakening of the Data Act and provide clear guidance to ensure the mobility ecosystem can flourish fairly in Europe's data economy

CLEPA, the European Association of Automotive Suppliers, has expressed concern that the EU Data Act might be diluted by the upcoming Digital Omnibus initiative expected in mid-November. The association emphasizes that the Data Act contains essential provisions that promote investments in data-based services by enabling consumers to share data generated from connected products.
