BorgWarner to supply VTG turbocharger and eVCT for 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee
BorgWarner's VTG turbocharger enhances engine efficiency with integrated wastegate technology, while eVCT improves fuel economy and emissions for Stellantis' Jeep models
BorgWarner has entered into an agreement with Stellantis to supply its 50 mm variable turbine geometry (VTG) turbocharger for Stellantis's new Hurricane 4 Turbo, a 4-cylinder gasoline engine slated for the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee. BorgWarner will also supply its electric variable cam timing (eVCT) technology for the Jeep Cherokee and its EP6 four-cylinder engine.
