Toyota launches new EV battery plant in North Carolina, US
Toyota's investment will enhance US manufacturing, creating 5,100 jobs at the new North Carolina battery facility
In a press release dated Nov. 12, Toyota announced that it has commenced operations at its new $13.9 billion battery manufacturing plant in Liberty, North Carolina — the company’s first battery plant outside Japan and its 11th US facility.
