Magna opens new facility in mainland China to expand electric drive system production
The newly leased facility spans more than 160,000 square feet and is projected to create about 200 new jobs once it reaches full production capacity.
Magna is expanding its presence in mainland China by opening a new manufacturing facility in the Jiujiang Economic Development Zone, Wuhu. This expansion aims to meet the growing demand for electric drive systems, beginning with Magna's collaboration with Chery and potentially serving additional automakers in the future.
