CATL – Stellantis break ground on a battery plant in Spain

CATL - Stellantis battery plant has secured over €300 million in funding from the European Union and is expected to start production operations by late 2026

CATL, mainland China's largest battery maker, and Stellantis broke ground on their planned battery manufacturing plant in Spain. The planned battery plant will be built in Figueruelas, which is located in the northeastern Aragon region in Spain.
